Andrew is a Senior Staff Accountant at a local public accounting firm. A life-long learner, he is working towards his CPA designation. He moved to Ottawa for school from his hometown of Stratford ON in 2018 and joined Rotaract in 2019. He was introduced to Rotary by a high school teacher, a Rotarian, who encouraged him to participate in Rotary’s Adventures in Citizenship program. Andrew is grateful for the opportunities Rotary and Rotaract have given him, and he cannot wait to see what the coming Rotary year will bring. Andrew has previously served as the Community Service Director, Vice- President, and Membership Director of the Rotaract Club of Ottawa.

Rachel is a third-year law student at the University of Ottawa. Prior to starting law school she was a software engineer for a local Ottawa start-up. Rachel has been a member of the Rotaract Club of Ottawa for 6 years and has previously served as president, vice-president and secretary. She is a third generation Rotarian. In her free time Rachel likes to hang out with her cat Nebula, solve a variety of puzzles, and perform badly in recreational sports leagues.

Reid is a Software Engineer working for an Ottawa-based tech company, and has been a member of the Rotaract Club of Ottawa for six years, serving as treasurer for his fifth year. He originally moved to Ottawa in 2016 from Yellowknife, NT to study at the University of Ottawa. In Yellowknife, Reid was the vice president and president of his high school Interact club. After completing his degree he decided to stay in Ottawa after falling in love with the city. When he’s not working, he loves getting outdoors and taking advantage of what the Ottawa Valley has to offer, or if he’s feeling a little lazier, he can be found watching TV and cross stitching.

Lara went to Carleton University to study Indigenous Studies and Law. She is a Cree woman and love to support the Indigenous community in Ottawa. She is so excited to serve as the community service director bringing new opportunities to club!
